Design approach & material palette
Concept
A room for long hours: warm walnut panelling, low reflectance surfaces and light kept off the screen.
Space planning
Desk floated off the panelled wall, storage carried in a sculpted drawer tower, and an armchair pocket at the window.
Materials
Fluted and grooved walnut veneer, stitched leather, antique brass, herringbone oak flooring and profile-lit niches.
